A wider choice of possibilities in this matter is provided by collector heating of a private house — each battery is connected to a single source. This allows you to set the desired temperature on any radiator or even turn it off completely. The basis is a comb (collector), which is a small part of the pipe that has outlets for each individual heating element.


The main advantage of such a system is ease of use. The use of heating devices is the most comfortable:

So, for example, this system is highly not recommended for use in apartments — in such dimensions it is almost impossible to implement the project.

Basically, in multi-storey buildings, two or even more risers enter a separate room. Each is connected to several heating devices. To implement a parallel plan, you need to connect each radiator to one riser. In other words, all heat supply channels are blocked except for the only one, on which radiators are hung. Such a decision can lead to the fact that the neighbors living above simply do not receive the necessary heat, and may simply freeze.

Such an arrangement in a private house will only affect the owners themselves. The main thing to consider some features:

  1. The automatic air valve is located directly on the return and supply manifold. They allow you to remove all the air from the system.
  2. An expansion tank is always mounted in the circuit. Its capacity should not be less than 10% of the total volume of liquid in the system. The price of these devices is relatively low to save. And an increase in the volume of liquid in the system when heated is a must.
